How to improve Sperm Count

9 Tips on making sure you have optimum sperm count and quality
Low sperm count reduces or eliminates chances of conception. In addition, a healthy father with “high quality sperm” is very imporant for a healthy baby.

Temporarily low sperm count can be improved, and so can the quality of the sperm. If takes around 3 months to renew the sperm, so make sure you follow these tips for an extended period of time, at least until pregnancy is achieved.

1. Relax
One of the most common reasons for temporary low sperm count is stress. Do relaxation excercies like yoga or meditation. Also make sure you get time for yourself, take lunch breaks for example.

2. Wear loose boxers
The balls are placed where they are so that they’ll keep one degree cooler than the rest of the body. Therefore it’s important to wear loose boxers that allow your body to work as intended.

3. Aviod hot temperatures
Avoid things that increase the temperature of your body - especially your balls - too much. Stay away from spas, saunas and exercise bikes.

4. Exercise regularly
While too much exercise is bad for fertility, regular and moderate exercice is very important. it can help you keep a health weight as well as help you shoot even further.

5. Don’t ejaculate for three days before the fertile days
Not having sex is the quickest way to increase the sperm count. If you have refrained from having sex for a few days before you get a positive ovulatin test, you will get a bigger load when it really counts.

6. Zinc and selenium
Buy zinc and selenium supplements and eat oysters once or twice a week.

7. Stay away from alcohol and cigarettes
Drinking and smoking can severely reduce fertility. The good news is that this is reversed rather quickly when you stop.

8. Make love in the morning
The sperm count is often best in the mornings.

9. Healthy diet
Eat lots of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Stay away from too much sugar, processed foods, salt and bad fats like fast food or chips.
